The Groom Trends for 2022

The Groom Trends for 2022

We shouldn't overlook the newest groom wedding attire trends, even though wedding dress trends get all the attention. Rather than playing it safe with fashion, grooms, groomsmen, and even groomsmaids now have endless options to fully customize their looks. Are you curious about what guys will wear down the aisle in 2022? Here are a few of our favorite groom looks for this year!

Soft neutrals and earth tones

New groom attire trends are emerging because outdoor wedding venues are becoming more popular. Many couples prefer to exchange their wedding halls for the great outdoors, and what better way to complement your surroundings than with rich browns and tans, off-white/bone, and olive greens?

The classic black tux will never go out of style, but neutrals are definitely gaining in popularity. With metallics, clean lines, modern elements, and neutral colors, the overall wedding aesthetic trend is chic and minimalistic. In today's society, it is more important than ever to have the groom and groomsmen's attire complement and coordinate with the entire wedding day look. A nontraditional soft neutral look is definitely something we encourage grooms to try.

Velvet Vibes

An unexpected and chic look is created by velvet blazers. Especially in deep greens and dark blues, it looks great for outdoor weddings because it is a richer, thicker fabric. The floral and citrus colors of velvet bow ties or accents on shoes can look equally rich for spring weddings.

Mix-and-Match

There are two ways to do this trend: Pair a custom jacket with a pair of off-the-rack black or blue pants or vice versa- wear a custom pants with a traditional jacket. With this, the groom can showcase his own style without having to spend a fortune or look like a costume. In light of the fact that custom suits can range from $600 to $6,000, this is a great way to save money and stand out from the crowd.

A Pop of Color

In 2022, color is returning to weddings in a big way. Including florals, decor, and general aesthetics, as well as men's fashion. We are seeing suits in shades of blue ranging from medium to dark navy, deep greens, and also burgundy/purple. Some, however, will keep it simple with navy or black pants and let the blazer take center stage, while others will go all out. Tuxes and suits aren't the only essentials; accessories and shoes are equally important!

Having Fun with Second Looks

Is there anything better than changing clothes before entering the reception? Whether it's a stylish white dinner jacket, a swanky pair of suspenders, or a fun bow tie, grooms are likely to go for a more casual look when it's time to dance the night away.
